South Florida Kannada School was established in the year 2021. The key objective of the program is to impart reading, writing, and spoken Kannada skills to learners. We are a non-profit organization teaching Kannada language in South Florida.

The Kannada language is an ancient South Indian Language spoken predominantly by the people of Karnataka in southwestern India. Kannada is one of the four major literary languages of the Dravidian family, with a long history and rich literature. It has around 44 million native speakers and is a second or third language for about 15 million non-native speakers in Karnataka. In the United States, there were about 48,600 by the time of the 2015 census.
